Reliance Jio has announced a price hike across all its prepaid and postpaid plans. The price change will come into effect from July 3. Most of the plans have been increased by over 20%. The most affordable price of Rs 155 has now reached Rs 189. Shockingly, the prices have been increased while the plan benefits like call minutes, data allowance etc will remain the same.
As per the new tariff plans, the prices have been increased for monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, annual, data add-on and postpaid options. Below is the price list of all the packages after the hike:
Interestingly, the hike comes just a day after Prafull Billore, popularly known as MBA Chaiwala tweeted about 1.5GB data. The social media sensation and entrepreneur had tweeted, “1.5GB data everyday has made youths forget their joblessness (Pratidin Ka 1.5GB Data Yuvaon Ko Unki Berojgari Ka Ehsas Nahin Hone De Raha Hai).”

The sudden hike in Reliance jio plans has netizens calling Prafull the original ‘Panauti’ with hilarious memes flooding social media.
