The entire Ambani family recently welcomed Radhika Merchant to their family. Radhika tied the knot with Anant Ambani amid a grand celebration on July 12. As Ambani bahu, Radhika celebrated her first birthday on Wednesday in the presence of her family members and closest friends. She celebrated her 30th birthday at Antilia, the Ambani's Mumbai residence. However, a video from the birthday bash has taken the internet by storm that shows Akash Ambani refusing to eat cake when Radhika offers him.
Apart from the Ambani and Merchant family, the guest list included MS Dhoni, Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Aryan Khan, and Orry, among others. Orry shared videos on Instagram giving a glimpse into the birthday bash. The video shows Radhika cutting a red cake while her family and guests cheer for her. As per the customary, Radhika offered a piece of cake to her husband Anant and father-in-law Mukesh Ambani. Both of them ate the cake. Next, she offered cake to her parents. However, when she offered cake to her brother-in-law Akash, he refused to take it. Meanwhile, she offered the piece of cake to her mother-in-law Nita Ambani, standing beside Akash.

Well, a short portion of the video has gone viral on social media triggering mixed reactions from netizens. Any first-time viewer would also feel awkward. But, the real reason for Akash refusing to take the offered cake is a very sweet one. And, the reason can be learnt after watching the full video.
He refused to take the cake and redirected her towards family matriarch Kokilaben Ambani. In the video, Akash is seen asking Radhika to offer the cake to Kokilaben first. Next, he also requested his maternal grandmother Poornima Dalal to come forward and have a piece of cake.
