Pakistani girl seeking job asked to ‘spend quality time’ with boss, shares terrifying story

A Pakistani woman looking for a job shared her terrifying ordeal when she was asked to ‘spend quality time’ with her boss. The woman, who was applying for a job as a fresher for a trainee and office assistant position was allegedly asked to ‘cooperate’ and ‘spend quality time’ with her boss.

Taking to X, the woman shared her story and gave epic reply to the manager who was asking her to ‘cooperate’.

Sharing her story, the woman identified as Adina Hira on X, shared how being a girl in Pakistan is too difficult.

She attached a few screenshots of her messages with the manager and wrote, “Being a girl in Pakistan is too difficult! I applied for a job on the Indeed website, which was for fresh graduates, and this is the message I received. It’s unbelievable!! Who knows how many innocent girls they must have taken advantage of.”

She further added, “When a fresh graduate looks for a job, they either encounter such disgusting people or those with wealthy parents who get in through references. This country is hell!!”

Her post has gone viral with netizens calling out the company for taking advantage of young job seekers. After facing backlash, the company ‘GiGA group’ send an apology to Adina.

“Hi Adina Hira, Hope you will be fine. We apologize for the sad incident happened with you. We assure you that the person concerned is not associated with the Giga Group of Companies and we have already initiated legal action against him,” the company sent an apology.

Meanwhile, Adina has been receiving a lot of support from people across the country with more than 2M views, both from India and Pakistan.

“This is absolutely disgusting. If he’s demanding sexual favors so casually from employees, one can only wonder what he’s done to others who are already working for him,” shared a user.

Another user wrote, “When you have a  Corrupt  country    This behavior takes place at higher rate.    Even in the west it does happen but way lower and the consequences are extremely high unlike in Pakistan there are no consequences for corrupted people.”
