Sounds unbelievable, but a 34-year-old man from Kerala, Renjith Thomas Joshua has scored 100 percentile in Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022, and this is not the first time that he hit a perfect score in the test. He had earlier scored 100 percentile in CAT in 2015, 2016, and 2017.

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is one of the most prestigious national-level entrance examinations in India, through which aspirants get a chance to take admission in top management institutes.

Undoubtedly, CAT is the biggest MBA entrance test in the country.

Aspirants prepare hard to clear the CAT. Scoring 100 percentile is certainly a dream for many, but only a few aspirants are able to achieve the feat. Also, scoring a 100 percentile four times is not a child’s play.

It is even more surprising that even after such remarkable achievements consecutively, Joshua didn’t take admission in any of the management institutes.

Here’s the reason why Joshua only appears for the tests but hasn’t taken admission.

As many as two lakh aspirants sat for the CAT exam which was held last month. Of them, only 11 candidates were able to score 100 percentile including Joshua.

Joshua is a tutor and he says that he wants to remain updated for the sake of his students for which he is appearing in the entrance test multiple times.

Matrubhumi quoted Joshua as saying, “I take the test with my students every time. As a trainer, I have to keep up to date with the changes in the exam pattern.”

Further, Joshua added, “Many among us have the knowledge. It’s very basic. But, what people lack is the training to attain speed and accuracy.”

Well, this is something inspiring and praise-worthy.

Showering praises after Joshua’s unbelievable achievement, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor tweeted, “As your MP I can say you make not just Thiruvananthapuram but all Kerala proud.”

As per Joshua’s profile on UrbanPro, an online portal for tutors, he began his journey as an aptitude trainer in 2012.

Further, his profile description reads, “I have worked with some of the big names in test prep in the country along with my then ongoing gig as aptitude trainer at a leading IT training and placement company in Trivandrum.”

Notably, Joshua is an alumnus of the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram and he currently runs his own coaching centre.
