Kaun Banega Crorepati season 17 continues to inspire and entertain audiences under the iconic hosting of Amitabh Bachchan. In a recent episode, Ayushi, a visually impaired IAS officer,  currently serving as a Sub-Divisional Magistrate, impressed viewers with her grit and knowledge as she took the hot seat.

According to a report of NDTV, Ayushi confidently tackled a series of tough questions and walked away with a prize of Rs 25 lakh. However, she stumbled at the Rs 50 lakh question, which asked: “Which rock band, whose albums Kalpana Chawla had carried on her mission, wrote the song ‘Contact Lost’ in honour of the Columbia astronauts?” The correct answer was Deep Purple, but Ayushi chose to quit with her winnings.

Kalpana Chawla, India’s first woman in space, was a devoted fan of the legendary British band. She carried their albums aboard the ill-fated Columbia mission in 2003. Following the tragedy, guitarist Steve Morse composed the instrumental Contact Lost as a tribute, later included in their 2003 album Bananas.
