The Sanjay Gandhi National Park is one of the most attractive sites in the city with a lush green area. Rich in flora and fauna, nature lovers visit this park every day. However, there is a haunted tale related to the place often whispered by locals.
As per common tales, the place is haunted and especially at night. Locals claim to have witnessed different paranormal activities and ghost sightings. As per the local tales, a woman appears from nowhere at night and asks for a lift at this place.
It won’t be surprising to find the guards reciting a silent prayer during nightfall and crossing over to the less dense areas of the park. If asked, the guards would narrate their encounters with a ghost of a woman, who often tries to stop people driving around. As per the guards, if the ghost doesn’t stop them, it would chase and scare them away.
Moreover, people who reside in the park in small huts also share that they don’t dare to venture outside in the dark, fearing the ghost of the woman more than any wild animal. Some even claim hearing strange voices while others share the eerie feeling of being constantly looked at or followed.
The locals here advise visiting the place during the day to enjoy the serene beauty of nature. However, visiting Sanjay Gandhi National Park after sundown could be a frightening experience.
