Well, recently, an auto-rickshaw driver has set an exemplary example by returning a huge amount of cash left behind by a businessman in his vehicle.
Auto Driver Returns Rs 17 Lakh to Businessman!
According to the reports, the businessman from Myanmar rented Lalhmingmuana's auto-rickshaw in Mizoram's Lawngtlai at around 9 pm on Thursday. However, inadvertently he left Rs 17 lakh cash in a plastic bag.
The report by HC Vanlalruata states that back at the hotel, the businessman learned that he had lost his money. The businessman along with the hotel staff, searched the hotel room for the missing money.
Meanwhile, the auto driver found a huge amount of cash in his vehicle. After discovering the money, he returned to the hotel to hand it over. Interestingly, he expected nothing in return for his honourable act.
In a world where materialism often takes centre stage, this auto driver's noble deed shines a light on the importance of ethics and values. This selfless act is a refreshing reminder that honesty still prevails in our society. C. Zathianga, president of the Lawngtlai Auto Rickshaw Owners' Association, praised Lalhmingmuana for his honesty.
