Hailing from the serene village of Khojapur in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, Abhinandan Yadav’s story began in humble surroundings, nurtured by a family that deeply valued discipline and education. Like many ambitious students, he moved to Kota, Rajasthan, with dreams of cracking the highly competitive IIT JEE exam.
His dedication bore fruit when he secured admission to IIT Guwahati in 2018, an accomplishment that opened doors to a promising future. He graduated in 2022 and accepted a corporate job in Gurugram. But despite the financial security and a respectable lifestyle, something was missing.
The Call for Public Service
Abhinandan felt a strong urge to serve the nation in a more meaningful way. Determined to secure a government role, he began preparing for competitive exams while balancing a demanding job and managing life alone. His routine was grueling—studying 12 hours a day, cooking, and working full-time.
His journey was not without setbacks. Abhinandan faced failure in 16 different government exams, yet he refused to back down. Each rejection became a stepping stone, teaching him lessons and strengthening his resolve.

Though he briefly cleared the SSC CGL exam and worked as an auditor, Abhinandan aspired for more. His ultimate goal was to serve the country through a more impactful role. In 2024, his perseverance finally paid off when he cleared the UPSC Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) exam on his first attempt, earning the prestigious post of Assistant Commandant.
