In an era where a career at tech giants like Amazon is seen as the pinnacle of professional success, Anil Jangid decided to take a drastically different path one that’s guided not by job titles, but by rhythm, lyrics, and raw passion. A graduate of IIM Ahmedabad and a former product manager at Amazon, Jangid walked away from a six-figure paycheck and a well-paved corporate future to chase his lifelong dream: becoming a singer.

Leaving the Corporate Comfort Zone

The story came to light when Jangid’s friend, Shravan Tickoo, posted about his inspiring transition on LinkedIn. Tickoo described him as a bright, humble, and hardworking individual with the perfect resume—NITK, IIM-A, and a coveted position at Amazon.

“Back then, he was a PM at Amazon. He had it all, success, stability, and structure,” wrote Tickoo. But beneath that structured life was an unshakable yearning to do more something that truly resonated with his soul.

Answering the Call of Music

The turning point came after a year of soul-searching. One day, Jangid sent Tickoo a picture—toned and transformed like a fitness model. When asked what he had been up to, Jangid replied, "Bhai, I asked myself what I really want to do—and the answer was music."

Soon after, he shared a self-written track titled #SunLoZara, a deeply emotional song that stunned Tickoo with its authenticity. “I asked if it was just a hobby, and Anil, being Anil, said—‘Nahi bhai, I’m trying to become a singer,’” Tickoo shared.

The Internet Applauds His Leap of Faith

Since the post went viral, it has sparked widespread admiration. Users praised Jangid’s courage to defy convention and embrace his inner artist. “Respect! Courage like this deserves loud applause,” wrote one. Another said, “It’s a reminder that life’s truest success lies in authenticity.”

Anil Jangid's journey is a refreshing reminder that sometimes, the heart knows better than the head. And in chasing his dream, he’s tuning into something far more powerful than a paycheck- his true self.
