Birthday celebrations make children happy. Apart from elating children, celebrations also strengthen their self-esteem and identity. It even helps them to create social relationships. But, not just children, birthday celebration makes even adults happy.
To host a birthday, it is essential to select an ideal venue, prepare a guest list, choose the food and cake and send the invitations. But, most people would feel awkward celebrating their birthday with strangers. But, the recent story of a Zomato delivery guy’s birthday celebration took the internet by storm and impressed netizens.
Recently, the food delivery agent celebrated his birthday by distributing chocolates with every order.
The food delivery guy, identified as Karan Apte, took to Facebook and shared some glorious snippets of his birthday celebrations. Karan’s caption for the post read: "Today’s my birthday, I bought a new shirt and distributed chocolates with every order I delivered in Zomato."
The post included two pictures. In one picture, Karan can be seen clicking a photo of his mirror reflection wearing his new shirt while the other picture shows a Zomato packet along with a 5-Star chocolate.
Soon after the post went viral on social media, Karan’s gesture won the hearts of netizens. Several users appealed to Zomato to do something for Karan, while others wished him a special day and appreciated his gesture.
Later, Karan shared on Facebook that Zomato send him a cake at this residence.
His post read, “I was wondering who sent this cake to my address. Then I got a call from Zomato that they sent it. And the whole company going crazy that my post went viral.”
Cadbury also sent Karan a box full of chocolates. And he shared the picture of the chocolate box thanking Cadbury for the amazing gift.
Karan celebrated his birthday in such a unique way in June but his story still is circulating on social media.
