Bride cancels wedding over groom’s alleged abuse for questioning about missing traditions 

A bride in Firozabad, India, canceled her wedding after the groom allegedly abused her during a call questioning the absence of traditional elements like band and horse in his procession. Despite community efforts to resolve the issue, she remained firm, citing pre-marital abuse and dowry demands.

Bride cancels marriage

A wedding took an unexpected turn when the bride, incensed by the absence of traditional customs in the groom's procession, adamantly refused to proceed with the marriage. The groom's failure to bring baand, baaja and mare led to the bride calling off the wedding.

According to a LIVE Hindustan report, the incident took place in UP’s Firozabad on April 23, 2024 (Tuesday).
