Trader shot by armed miscreants

At least five motorcycle-borne attackers fired at the trader, identified as M Ramu, while he was at his workshop at Nuasahi in the town, police said.

Police recovered four cartridges from the spot.

Ramu was admitted to MKCG Medical College Hospital here and his condition was stated to be serious.

Previous enmity was suspected to be the cause of the incident, said inspector in-charge of Kabisurya Nagar police station KC Sethi adding that efforts were on to nab the culprits.
