Rourkela: Three persons, including a scrap businessmen, were arrested and a scrap laden truck was seized during patrolling in sector-7 police limits of the steel city here on Thursday night.

The stolen scrap, including aluminium, bronze and iron weighing about four tonnes was loaded in the truck and was being transported to a godown in Ambagan area.

The scrap businessman, Nehuru Sahoo, the driver, Parameswar Biswal and helper Suman Hembram were arrested and forwarded to a local court today which remanded them to jail custody.
