Puri: At least three persons were injured as a group of people of another village hurled bombs at them in Brahmagiri area here.
 
According to reports, as many as 10 villagers of Hasinipur village hurled bombs and attacked some of the villagers of Chapmanik village while they were busy working in government-owned Domabasa kaju field.
 
Following the incident, the injured persons have been admitted to Puri Sadar hospital.
 
The reason behind the attack is said to be the past rivalry between the villages over leasing of cashew nut field and fisheries.
 
Meanwhile, two teams of police and two platoon of police force have been deployed in the area to avoid any kind of untoward situation.
