Bijnor (UP): Three persons were sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court in connection with a kidnapping case.

Additional district Judge Ram Chandra found Dilshad , Shahzad and Ashraf guilty of abducting a farmer Surendra Singh in Narainpur in Mandawar area on Oct 26, 2010 and awarded them the punishment yesterday.

According to prosecution sources, the trio released Singh after receiving a ransom of Rs five lakhs. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on each of the convict.
