As chief chilled dessert and cake developer for Tesco, she travels around the world tasting anything from the finest gateaux to custard tarts.

Laura, who lives in north-west London with her boyfriend, added: “The main thing I worry about is my teeth. I try to make sure I brush as often as possible.”
