People frequently use gadgets to create impressive things, a practice common among YouTubers who aim to set and break world records on social media.
Recently, a YouTuber built an enormous iPhone measuring 6.74 feet tall, making it the largest smartphone replica ever created.
Tech critic Arun Maini, also known as Mrwhosetheboss, collaborated with gadget expert Matthew Perks from DIYPerks to create this gigantic iPhone 15 Pro Max replica.
Their achievement has been officially recognised by Guinness World Records.
Incredibly, this massive iPhone is fully functional. It can send SMS and emails, browse the App Store, and use all the features of a regular phone.
The video showcasing their creation details the process of building this enormous gadget.
To make the screen, they used an 88-inch LG Signature OLED TV and transformed it into a touch-sensitive display. The video has gone viral, gaining 1.6 million views on YouTube, with many people praising it.
One user commented on the video, “Congratulations, you guys. This is absolutely incredible, and I'm honored to have been a (VERY VERY SMALL) part of it!”
Another user said, “You absolutely CRUSHED it!!!” while one user commented, “He brought back the OG video.”
A fourth user wrote, “This actually brought tears to my eyes. I remember watching this channel when it had no more than 1,000 subscribers. And now, this. Thank you, Arun, and congratulations. From the bottom of my heart.”
