WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging apps used by people because it is easy to access and widely known.
Currently, it holds the top spot among messaging apps.
According to an online report, WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, is introducing a new feature.
This feature will allow users to initiate group calls with up to 15 people.
Back in April 2022, WhatsApp had already introduced the functionality for large group calls, allowing up to 32 participants.
However, users could only start group calls with a maximum of 7 contacts.
But now, with the latest Android beta update (version number 2.23.15.14), WhatsApp users can create new group calls with up to 15 people.
It is essential to mention that even though the initial call can now include up to 15 participants, the group call can still host a total of 32 people.
The focus of this update is to enhance the convenience of selecting participants during the group call creation process, making it easier for the group call creator to connect with more people immediately.
With these improvements, the group call creator can quickly select a large number of contacts to start the call, saving time and providing a more convenient way to connect with others.
