The victim from Delhi was lured into a work-from-home scam promising high earning via social media. He was directed to a WhatsApp number and asked to register on a website to complete tasks that included depositing and withdrawing a certain amount.

The victim lost over Rs 9 lakh after falling victim to a scam that gained his trust by giving him the promised commission and withdrawal.

But after depositing the amount, he was unable to withdraw it. The victim filed a complaint with the Delhi Police, who subsequently arrested two individuals in connection with the case.
