According to Realme, this 320W SuperSonic Charge technology can fully charge a smartphone from 0% to 100% in just 4 minutes and 30 seconds. It charges the battery up to 26% in one minute and over 50% in under two minutes.

Realme's 320W technology is faster than Redmi's 300W technology, which charges a 4,000 mAh battery in 4 minutes and 55 seconds. Realme's technology can charge a 4,400 mAh battery in less than 5 minutes.

How Batteries Work?

Battery technology involves mAh (milliamp-hours) and watts. mAh measures battery capacity—how long it can power a device.

For example, a 3000mAh battery lasts longer than a 1500mAh battery in the same device. Watts measure power use; higher watts mean faster charging. For instance, a phone with a 10-watt charger charges faster than one with a 5-watt charger.

How Realme's 320W SuperSonic Charge Works?

This rapid charging speed is unusual for consumer devices. Realme has developed a 4,420 mAh folded battery, which consists of four cells that charge simultaneously. This technology is inspired by solar panels used in satellites.

People are curious about whether this technology might damage smartphones, and they will need to wait to see its real-world performance.
