The best part is that these rooms are available at a fraction of the cost of a regular hotel room - just Rs. 20 for up to 24 hours.
How to book IRCTC retiring rooms?
To book an IRCTC Retiring Room, you will need your PNR number and a confirmed train ticket. Only one room can be booked per PNR number, and rooms are allotted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
To book a room, visit https://www.rr.irctctourism.com/#/home and enter your details. Once you have completed the booking process, you will be asked to provide identification documents. After verification, you will have a luxurious room all to yourself.
Currently, IRCTC Retiring Rooms are available at selected railway stations in Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai. RAC ticket holders can also avail this facility.
The charges for the Retiring Rooms are very affordable - Rs 20 for up to 24 hours, and Rs 40 for up to 48 hours If you opt for a dormitory bed instead of a single room, you can avail the facility for just Rs 10 for up to 24 hours.
