Rajkot: Janta Party chief Subramanian Swamy on Saturday described Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as an honest man and said that he should not be removed.

"The Prime Minister is an honest man but he is not able to take independent decisions because he has a high command over him," he told reporters when asked for his reaction to the charge of BJP leaders of prime minister being weak.

"I`m not in favour of demanding his (Manmohan Singh) removal," Swamy said, adding that he is a good prime minister in the present circumstances.

Swamy reacted sharply to the apology offered by BJP leader L K Advani to Congress president Sonia Gandhi over the issue of Swiss Bank accounts saying that he should not have apologised to her.
