Sunrisers Hyderabad opener and young batting sensation Abhishek Sharma knows only one thing - to decimate the bowling attacks, no matter who the bowler is. The SRH opener and budding India talent has lit up this IPL with his fearless batting approach.

The 23-year-old  from Punjab has provided excellent starts for his team with his partner Travis Head as they both are already termed as one of the most dangerous opening pairs in IPL history. Even SRH captain and Australia great Pat Cummins couldn't help but heap praises on Abhishek.

Reflecting on Abhishek’s performance, the SRH captain Pat Cummins said that he wouldn't dare to bowl against Abhishek.

"He (Abhishek) is amazing. I wouldn't want to bowl against him. He's scary. He’s a clean striker of the ball and runs down the track against the spinners. Thankfully, he’s on our side," Cummins said after yesterday's match against Punjab Kings.

Pat Cummins also heaped praises on Nitish and said, "Nitish is a class player, looks mature beyond his age, he is perfect for the top order. Really satisfying. I haven't played in finals before. Playing some really good cricket, excited for what's ahead."

On Sunday, Abhishek's fiery knock of 66 of 28 balls helped SRH chase 215 runs against Punjab Kings. Abhishek's brilliance has seen him score a total of 467 runs in his 13 games so far, making him one of the most successful batters of IPL 2024.

With IPL playoffs approaching, Abhishek will play a key role for Sunrisers Hyderabad in their quest for their 2nd IPL title after 2016.

Sunrisers Hyderabad will play Kolkata Knight Riders on May 21 in Ahmedabad.
