Unexpected Outburst

Known for his calm and composed nature, Dhoni shocked fans and the cricket fraternity alike when he marched onto the pitch to challenge the umpires' decision. The incident occurred in the 25th match of the season when a waist-high delivery, which initially was not called a no-ball by the leg-umpire, was highlighted by the intervention of the third umpire.

Sehwag's Strong Opinion

The events prompted criticism from various quarters, with Virender Sehwag expressing a particularly firm stance. "I think Dhoni got off easy and ought to have been banned for at least two or three games. Because if he did this, another captain may do the same thing tomorrow. So what does an umpire actually contribute?" Sehwag remarked.
