West Indies cricketer Joshua’s mother gets emotional after meeting Virat Kohli
The second day of the second Test between India and West Indies witnessed a beautiful moment between the nation’s heartthrob Virat Kohli and a woman. The woman, the mother of a West Indies player was so emotional after seeing Kohli, her favourite cricketer and she couldn’t control her tears. She was seen hugging Virat Kohli and requested a picture with him.
Though being a cricketer’s mother herself, her love for Kohli has left fans in awe of his charisma. The woman is none other than West Indies’ wicketkeeper and batsman Joshua Da Silva’s mother. She had come to watch the Test match. Soon after the match, she waited near the team’s bus to personally meet the cricket legend and wish him his 29th Test hundred.
Kohli also happily obliged for a picture with Joshua’s mother who was left teary-eyed after the meeting.
“I absolutely love you. You are the best,” she can be heard telling Kohli to which the star batsman nods happily. He then gives her a hug before entering the bus.
Earlier, during the match, Joshua had interacted with Kohli and told him that his mother would be coming to watch the match for Virat Kohli.
“My mom called me and told she’s coming to watch the match for Virat Kohli,” Joshua could be heard telling Virat. Later, he asked Kohli to get his hundred to which Kohli replied, “You’re obsessed with my milestones.”
Joshua also did not feel shy to say that he indeed wanted Kohli to get the hundred. Fans are loving the beautiful moment between Kohli and Joshua’s mother.
“A mother wants her son to achieve the same kind of success,” commented a user.
Another user commented, “Kohli not only conquered cricket, he conquered the respect too. Salute.”
