Cricket legends Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, Muttiah Muralitharan, and others made their return back to the field once again for a charity match. The cricketing greats featured in the One World One Family Cup, a charity match, held in Bengaluru.
The game also had several other former star players like Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, RP Singh, and Yuvraj Singh among others. While Sachin Tendulkar led the ‘One World’ side, Yuvraj captained the ‘One Family’ team.
Batting in the second innings Sachin, known for his unique shots, scored an impressive 27 off 16 balls with three fours and a six. However, Sri Lanka bowling legend Muttiah Muralitharan took his wicket after he tried to hit a huge six over the long-on.
Video of Sachin’s wicket has been going viral with fans still calling him the legend of cricket, thanks to his timing. Apart from his batting performance, he also took one wicket in the match.
While Yuvraj Singh’s team had scored 180/6 with 51 runs from England legend Darren Maddy, 38 from Yusuf and 23 from Yuvraj, Sachin Tendulkar’s team easily chased down the target with a ball to spare.
The entire match gripped fans by a wave of nostalgia as Yusuf, Yuvraj and Harbhajan Singh engaged in hilarious banters during the match.
