Shubman Gill's maiden ODI hundred powered India to win the third and final ODI by 13 runs and complete a 3-0 series sweep against Zimbabwe on Monday.
After winning the series, the players stepped up to celebrate the victory with swag. The victorious team recorded a video of dancing on Bollywood's popular dance number 'Kala Chashma' from the flick Baar Baar Dekho starring Sidharth and Katrina Kaif. Team India celebrated the ODI clean sweep against Zimbabwe with a swag that served as a double dose of excitement and entertainment for all.
Vice-captain Shikhar Dhawan shared the video of the dressing room celebration, saying: "That's how we celebrate the win".
Shikhar Dhawan, Ishan Kishan, and other players can be seen dancing in the video.
The video soon garnered nearly a million likes within a small span of time. Fans and several other cricketers showered likes and the comment box got flooded with praises.
Trinidadian former international cricketer Brian Lara wrote, “I remembered a similar group of guys dancing the night away a few weeks ago.”
Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh sarcastically advised the players to stick to the cricket with an emoji.
In the match, Shubman Gill scored 130 off 97 balls as India posted 289 for eight against Zimbabwe.
Gill had a few nervous moments in the 90s before he reached the milestone.
Evans appealed for a close leg before call but the DRS was turned down after UltraEdge showed that the ball touched Gill's bat before thudding into the pads.
On the same ball, however, Kishan was run out at the other end after he left his crease for a quick single, but Gill was preoccupied with the appeal.
From the opposite side, Sikandar Raza also hit 115 runs of 95 balls. However, Raza fell to a brilliant catch by Shubman Gill.
