Virat Kohli named Instagram’s top earner from India, earns Rs 11.45 Cr for every post

Team India’s star batsman Virat Kohli has not played much cricket in 2023 due to the experiment being done by the team management. However, he still remains the top-earning Indian on photo and video blogging social media platform Instagram.

As per a Hopper HQ report, the former India captain charges a whopping Rs 11.45 Cr for every Instagram post. He has 256 million followers on the platform at present.

No doubt, Kohli is any advertiser’s dream as he has got a very big fanbase across the globe and hence everybody wants him to do the endorsements.

Among sportspersons across the globe, the list was topped by football great Cristiano Ronaldo. He is followed by his arch-rival Lionel Messi.

As per reports, Ronaldo charged a whopping sum of USD 3.23 million per an Instagram post which roughly translates to INR 26.75 crore. On the other hand, Messi charged USD 2.56 million per an Instagram post, which translates to INR 21.49 crore per post.

Coming back to Kohli, the star batsman has returned to India after the ODI series against West Indies. He will now be a part of the Indian side for the upcoming mega events like Asia Cup and the ODI World Cup. Kohli’s form will be key for India’s chances at the marquee events.
