With seven losses in eight matches, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has almost been knocked out of IPL 2024. Despite every effort by Virat Kohli & Co, the team always ends up on the losing side. Till now, RCB’s IPL 2024 campaign has gone from bad to worse as the Faf Du Plessis-led team has failed to perform well in this season.

On Sunday, they suffered another defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and are currently at the bottom of the points table. Going by the points table, RCB have just 2 points from 8 matches with a Net Run Rate (NRR) of -0.146.

With this, it is almost confirmed that RCB has been knocked out of the IPL this season. However, their hope of reaching the playoffs is still not completely over. Unfortunately, their luck is not in their hands.

As per reports, RCB still has six games remaining and they will have to win all the 6 matches to get 14 points. Generally, a team requires at least 16 points to reach the IPL playoffs. RCB can also possibly qualify for playoffs with just 14 points, but that will require a lot of other results to go in their favour.

So, RCB has to win all of their remaining six matches and loss of a few other teams can come in their favour. Then only they can reach the top 4 with 14 points in the points table.
