At a time when the Indian women’s team is finding it hard to compete with some formidable teams like Australia and England, a video of a promising little girl’s stunning batting skill has recently surfaced on the internet which will definitely inspire the Women in Blue.
The video shared by Dr Gill on Twitter has reportedly gone viral. In the video, the tiny batter can be seen playing a range of incredible shots with lightning bat speed.
With a great stance and poise, the emerging cricketer is getting into her position quite quickly with fantastic footwork and body movement and smashing every ball thrown at him with elan. She is probably playing every shot mentioned in the coaching manual of cricket.
The video has been flooded with several comments and likes.
Responding to the little girl’s former India Captain and wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni like impeccable helicopter shot, a netizen compared her to Dhoni’s daughter.
“3 helicopter chota in a row,” another netizen wrote in amusement. ‘That is exactly the helicopter shot,” another fan wrote.
While some netizens compared her with Virat Kohli and Harmanpreet Kaur, others went on to describe her as a combination of Shreyas Iyer and Hardik Pandya.
Some fans were so much impressed with the little girl’s aggressive batting that they said- “Indian cricket is in safe hands.”
