Vinod Kambli fell from net worth of $1.5 million to depend on BCCI monthly pension of Rs 30,000

Stylish left-handed batsman Vinod Kambli was once a star player of Indian cricket. However, his fate took such an ugly turn that he fell from the lofty heights to the ground.

Kambli’s net worth was once around $1 to $1.5 million. However, after his career, personal and financial difficulties increased, his financial condition deteriorated significantly after the year 2022  and his annual net worth was limited to just Rs 4 lakh. As per sources, Kambli runs his expenses with a monthly pension of Rs 30,000 from the BCCI these days.

Though Kambli achieved a lot of success at the beginning of his career at a very young age, he failed to keep up his promise and his performances deteriorated gradually. There was a time when he was considered even better than his childhood friend Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

Kambli had a great start in his career. However, his form declined gradually and he could not maintain his place in the Indian team consistently. 

Kambli’s condition is very bad in recent times. A video has gone viral over various social media platforms recently in which Kambli is seen struggling with his physical condition. In the video, Kambli is found not be able to even stand properly. He is seen trying to walk with the support of others. 

Several fans and former cricketers have expressed their concern over Kambli’s recent condition.
