Following his brilliant show in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, young batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi continues his good form in the ongoing series against England in the U-19 level.
The aggressive southpaw scored 45 runs off 34 balls after India were asked to bat first by England captain Thomas Rew in the second ODI in Northampton on Monday.
Suryavanshi hit as many as five fours and three sixes in his cameo. Once he threatened to take the game away from the hosts. However, pacer Jack Home cut short his innings while he was quickly approaching his half century. The left-handed batter got out in the 11th over. The brute hitter was left dejected upon being dismissed.
Jack gave Suryavanshi a fiery send-off, asking him to go back to the dressing room. Though Suryavanshi took Jack to cleaners, the England pacer had the last laugh, as he ended up taking the wicket of the Indian opener.
