India defeated formidable Australia in a convincing manner in their last match of the Super 8 stage to enter into the semifinal of the ongoing T20 World Cup.
Meanwhile, former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has accused India of ball-tampering. According to Izamam, something was done to the ball, which caused Arshdeep Singh to get a reverse swing during Australia’s innings.
The Pakistan batting legend Inzamam felt that there was something fishy and he urged the officials to keep their eyes open.
“Arshdeep Singh was able to reverse swing the ball in the 15th over. Isn’t it too early for the new ball to start reverse-swing? The ball was ready to reverse by the 12th-13th over. Umpires should be alert. If Arshdeep was able to reverse the ball, some work was done on it,” said Inzamam during a recent interaction.
Arshdeep bowled brilliantly to take three wickets. He dismissed David Warner in the first over of the innings and then got rid of Matthew Wade and Tim David in the 18th.
India will face England in the second semi-final on June 27.
