Men in Green were brutally trolled by cricket buffs across the globe over various social media platforms as England defeated the Babar Azam-led Pakistan side by five wickets to emerge champions of the T20 World Cup 2022 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday.
Several Pakistan fans were speculating that history will repeat itself (the 1992 World Cup win of Pakistan against England).
However, Jos Buttler - led had other plans in their minds. Pakistan fans were posting pictures of Imran Khan lifting the 1992 World Cup trophy aplenty on various social media platforms before the final match suggesting that this year Babar Azam will repeat the same.
However, England lifted the T20 World Cup 2022 title eventually. Cricket buffs from all around the globe trolled the Pakistan cricket team and their fans.
