Indian skipper Rohit Sharma burst into tears after a 10-wicket loss to England in the semifinals of the Men's T20 World Cup at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday. Sharma looked completely dejected and was spotted sitting alone. He broke down completely while India coach Rahul Dravid tried to console him.
Dravid, who was sitting alongside Sharma, consoled the skipper by patting him on his back. Sharma's emotions were captured by the television cameras at the Adelaide Oval.
Soon, the video took the internet by storm. Several fans as well as haters shared the video on different social media platforms. However, many expressed their anger for Sharma as well as team India.
Sharing the video, one user said, “Please god, I'm begging, give me all the pain of my @ImRo45, but pls don't do this to him.”
“Anyone let him know he is not allowed to cry because there ROHITIANS 😢 love him more than anyone else🌏❤we are with him whether he wins or loss,” said a supporter.

Though the list of comments supporting Sharma and team India was ending, the list of comments from haters was no way less. One hater went on to say that Sharma is the “Biggest flop player in Knockouts.”
“Are you serious?...he knows camera is on him and he's still getting paid...acting op... He should retire asap,” said another.
Another hater said, “Drama ... Shld resign now, Rohit Sharma should resign captiancy from all format and kl Rahul should be dropped from the team.”
All these comments are evident that just like team India and millions of cricket lovers supporting the team are heartbroken after the 10-wicket thrashing.
After the defeat, Rohit Sharma feels the performance with the ball let them down and credited the opening pair of Jos Buttler and Alex Hales for being clinical with their chase.
