The Men in Blue, World T20 Champions are unstoppable at the moment. Under the able leadership of Mr. 360 Suryakumar Yadav, they clinched another T20 series against Sri Lanka at their den. After the retirement of T20 veterans Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, the young team under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav clearly knows how to win from improbable situations.

Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav has also ticked all the boxes while captaining India for the first time in his T20 career. He showed an enormous amount of courage by choosing himself to bowl the last over when Sri Lanka needed 6 runs to win which could have gone either way.

Speaking about his stunning leadership, Suryakumar said, "As I said before the series, I don't want to be the captain, I want to be the leader."

The Indian T20 captain also showered praise on his teammates during the press conference.

“The amount of skill they have, self-confidence, it makes my job easy. The positivity, the care for each other is unbelievable. After the last game, I told few boys will be rested and they were ready to sit out," Suryakumar said.

“They have made my job easy. I have little pressure when I bat,” he added.

Suryakumar Yadav’s captaincy skill was appreciated by his teammates too.

"I played in the last Australia series with Surya bhai (as captain). I know that he is a bowlers' captain. He gives you free hand (in a way) that you decide first," Axar said after the first T20I.

“Honestly, it's amazing of him, amazing of his leadership skills to be honest because 12 balls 12 to win and for him to bring Rinku , especially when Kushal Perera is batting, and Rinku got him out and Surya himself came in the last over and won the game for us,” said Washington Sundar.

“We all know he has a big heart when he goes out there to bat but also he has a big heart in terms of leadership as well.” Sundar added.
