Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar just started emulating his father’s herculean feat as he smashed his maiden Ranji Trophy hundred on his debut.

Arjun scored the three figure mark against Rajasthan at the Goa Cricket Association Ground. Following his ton, he got several wishes from all quarters. However, Arjun’s sister Sara’s comment was very very special. Sara took to Instagram to express her delight.

In her first story, Sara posted a small clip of Arjun’s celebration after completing his 100 and captioned it, “Proudest sister today” along with mentioning “100 on debut @arjuntendulkar24.”

In her second story, Sara reheared a post from the Mumbai Indians account and captioned it, “All your hard work and patience is slowly paying off…".

Meanwhile, Yograj Singh, the father of former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, sent a text message to Arjun for his remarkable feat.

Yograj congratulated Arjun and said he will become ‘a great all-rounder one day’.

“Well batted son. One day you will be a great all-rounder. Mark my words,” Yograj said in his text message from the UK.

Arjun trained with Yograj for two weeks in September for the JP Atray Memorial tournament in Chandigarh. The photos of Arjun’s training with Yograj had gone viral after they appeared online.

A few months ago, a video surfaced on social media that showed Arjun Tendulkar doing bhangra dance with Mr Singh. The coach was also seen teaching Arjun how to perform the dance.

Notably, left-handed Arjun completed his century off 178 balls with the help of 12 fours and two sixes.

Though, Arjun is born and brought up in Mumbai, he was not getting chances to play for Mumbai Ranji team. Hence, he decided to play for Goa. He was also the part of Mumbai Indians squad in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the last two seasons. However, he is yet to get a chance to play for the team.

His father, Sachin Tendulkar had also scored a century in his Ranji Trophy debut against Gajarat in 1988.
