After drawing severe flak from the fans and experts for his poor batting and leadership skills during the recently-concluded World Test Championship (WTC) Final against Australia at the Oval, Rohit Sharma has been enjoying a much-needed vacation with his wife, Ritika, and their daughter.
Ritika has been keeping the fans updated about their vocational activities through her Instagram stories.
Ritika’s latest Instagram post garnered significant attention by fans. In the latest post, Ritika expressed gratitude towards her husband Rohit for diving into the water to retrieve her phone. Ritika had dropped her phone into the sea accidentally.
“My phone fell into the water, and this guy jumped in to save it,” wrote Ritika on her Instagram post.
Notably, India will tour West Indies next month to play two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20s. The first match is scheduled to be played at Windsor Park in Dominica on July 12. Fans across the globe are excited to watch the exciting and action-packed series.
After the tour, India will take part in the upcoming Asia Cup which will be hosted by Sri Lanka and Pakistan in a hybrid model. The tournament will commence from August 31. The final match will be played from September 17.
