Odisha cricketers Rajesh Mohanty and Mushtaq Beg have been included in the final Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auction list which was announced on Tuesday. 

While Rajesh is a right-arm fast bowler, Mushtaq is a right-arm leg spinner.

Odisha skipper and aggressive right-hand batsman Subhranshu Senapati was drafted into the Chennai Super Kings team in the last edition of the mega event.

The auction list includes 405 players who will go under the hammer during the mini-auction in Kochi on December 23. 

Initially, a total of 369 players were shortlisted by 10 teams from the initial list of 991 players. However, thirty-six additional players were requested by teams. Subsequently, they are added to the final list. Now, a total of 405 players will be presented at the auction of the mega event. Out of 405 players, 273 are Indians and 132 are overseas players.

The total number of capped players is 119 while the uncapped players are 282, and as many as four are from associate nations. A maximum of 87 slots are now available with up to 30 being reserved for overseas players. Rs 2 crore is the highest reserve price with 19 overseas players choosing to be slotted in the highest bracket.

As many as 11 players are on the auction list with a base price of INR 1.5 crore. Manish Pandey and Mayank Agarwal are the two Indian players on the list of 20 cricketers with a base price of INR 1 crore.
