Following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir on Tuesday, BCCI has taken a strict stance in the ongoing IPL 2025.
As per BCCI sources, all players and umpires will wear black armbands during the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians on Wednesday.
Moreover, a one-minute silence will be observed to express mourning over the tragic event before the start of the match. In addition, there will be no cheerleading performances or fireworks during the match.
Cricketers' Reactions
Notably, many Indian cricketers including Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya, have expressed their condolences for those who have lost their lives in the incident.
Legendary cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and former skipper Sourav Ganguly have also expressed their grief on the death of the victims of the terror attack in Pahalgam.

Sachin took to his official social media handle and said that he is 'shocked and deeply saddened' after coming across this horrific incident.
"Shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic attacks on innocent people in Pahalgam. The affected families must be going through an unimaginable ordeal - India and the world stand united with them at this dark hour, as we mourn the loss of lives and pray for justice," wrote Sachin on X (earlier known as Twitter).
"My thoughts and prayers are with the families who lost their lives in Pehelgaum. Severe action needs to be taken against the culprits..by the Government of india..none to be spared," tweeted Ganguly.
