Odisha Police steal show in World Police and Fire Games 2025

Odisha Police athletes put up a scintillating show to win a total of 20 medals including 13 gold,  three silver and four bronze in the  prestigious World Police and Fire Games 2025 in Birmingham.

Sabita Toppo secured the third position in the Women's 4x100 Relay even to win a bronze medal. She is a cadet of Odisha Reliance Foundation Athletics HPC.

Earlier, Constable Susmita Tiga brought pride to the state and the nation by winning the silver medal  in the 21 km women's half marathon event.

Earlier, she won gold medals in the 1500 meters and 3000 meters steeplechase, a silver medal in the 800 meters, and a bronze medal in the 4x400 meter relay.

Her outstanding performance across multiple track events has made her a shining star in the sporting community and a symbol of inspiration for the Odisha Police force.

Celebrating their remarkable achievements, the Director General of Police, Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, expressed his admiration and extended his best wishes for their future pursuits.

The World Police & Fire Games, held every two years, attract participants from police, fire, and other public safety bodies globally.
