Odisha Police athletes continue to steal the show in the prestigious World Police and Fire Games 2025 in Birmingham on Saturday.
Constable Ashok Dandasena clinched two gold medals in the men’s category of 5000 meters and 10000 meters and a silver medal in the 400×400 relay. He had earlier won gold medals in the 800 meters and 1500 meters races.
Constable Sabita Toppo also bagged a gold medal in the 100m hurdles and a bronze medal in the 400m hurdles of the women’s section. Constable Sushmita Tiga won the bronze medal in the 400x400m relay of the women’s section . She had earlier won the gold medal in the 1500m race and the silver medal in the 800m race.
Constable Sasmita Tiga bagged a bronze medal after finishing third in the 400x400 women's relay. Earlier, she had won a gold and silver medal in 1500 meters and 800 meters race respectively.
