India will have revenge in their mind when they lock horns with New Zealand in Dharamsala in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup on Sunday.

India had lost against the Kiwis in the first semi-final of the 2019 edition at Old Trafford, Manchester. In the process, the Black Caps had dashed hopes of one of the World Cup favourites.

The stage is now set for India to renew its rivalry with New Zealand in the cricket’s marquee tournament. India have just three victories out of the eight matches they have played against the Kiwis in the ODI format across World Cups. New Zealand have turned as the new nemesis of India in ICC tournaments.

India are currently in a dream run in the ongoing ICC ODI World Cup 2023. They have won four of their four matches. However, they are currently lying on the second spot of the points table. Meanwhile, New Zealand are occupying the top spot. Though they have also won same number of matches as India, they are on the top spot on the basis of better net run rate.

Several experts are terming India and New Zealand as title favourites for the ODI World Cup. Many experts are also predicting that both of them will make it to the summit clash of the mega event this time. Well before the all-important final, both the Men in Blue and the Black Caps will get a chance to lock horns in the crucial match on Sunday.
