Cricket king Virat Kohli, India’s run machine, returned to social media following a short break after India’s historic win against South Africa in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. The legendary batsman, who is rumoured to be moving to London with his wife and actress Anushka Sharma and their children, rubbished the reports of shifting to London permanently. 

Through a social media post, Virat claimed that he cannot wait to create special memories with his loved ones at his Alibaug home. His latest post seems to rubbish the rumours of him leaving India and settling in London.

Sharing a video of his huge farmhouse in Alibaug, Virat Kohli shared, “The journey of building my Alibaug home has been a seamless experience, and seeing it all come together is truly gratifying. Huge thanks to the entire Avas team for making our dream home a reality.”

“Can't wait to enjoy every moment here with my loved ones!” he added.

This announcement has come as a huge relief for his fans who were heartbroken after reports of him shifting to London surfaced online. With his post, Virat Kohli has finally laid all the rumours to rest and given his fans a reason to rejoice.

Meanwhile, King Kohli along with Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja announced retirement from T20Is after India’s triumphant win in the recently concluded T20 World Cup. Hopefully, he will continue to enthrall his fans in the ODIs, Test Cricket and IPL for the next couple of years.
