The 23rd National Para Athletics Championship 2025 concluded in Chennai with an outstanding performance by the Odisha para athletics team, securing a total of seven medals including four gold, two silver, and one bronze.
Odisha’s para-athletes delivered exceptional results, setting new records and reaffirming the state’s dominance in para sports.
Suchitra sets new record
Odisha’s Suchitra Parida produced a record-breaking performance in the women’s F-55 javelin event, winning the gold medal with a phenomenal throw of 18.79m, breaking her own national record.

Jayanti completes hat-trick
