Cricket legend and former India captain MS Dhoni took the internet by storm after Thala was in a Santa Claus avatar on the auspicious occasion of Christmas. Social media was swamped with Thala’s pictures from his Christmas celebration with his daughter Ziva, and his wife Sakshi, also joined by actress Kriti Sanon and her rumoured boyfriend.

In the viral photos, MS can be seen dressed as Santa Claus and posing for a picture with Ziva and Sakshi alongside a Christmas tree. The whole Dhoni family was seen dressed as per the Christmas theme, in red and white.

Fans were delighted to get a glimpse of Thala after a long time and came up with hilarious comments.

“Thala for a reason. He has now destroyed the career of Santa Claus 💀,” a fan commented.

Likewise, another fan shared, “He is the coolest Santa.”

However, many weren’t too happy with him for celebrating Christmas as he had skipped the Ram Mandir inauguration despite accepting the invitation. His fans, who are bhakts of Lord Ram, expressed upset with the cricketing hero for not marking his presence at the auspicious occasion.

“Ram mandir Jane ke liye paise nahi the is ke pass 7 🤡” shared a fan.

Another fan shared, “Jo admi bulane par ram mandir mai nhi gya waha joker ban kar ghum raha hai.”

“Ram mandir ❌️ Christmas ✅️” shared another user.

The inauguration was done on January 22 in Ayodhya and was a historic moment when PM Modi performed the Pran Pratishtha of the Ram Lalla idol in the grand, new temple.

Like MS Dhoni, cricket legends Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who were also invited, skipped the event, sparking outrage among their fans.
