Kavya Maran’s Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), who had begun the IPL 2024 with terrific wins and record scores, faced a humiliating defeat to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the finale. Star players like Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Klaasen failed to perform during the pressure match, leading to SRH’s downfall.
After being defeated by KKR during the Qualifier 1 round, SRH managed to reach the finale after beating RR was once again dominated by the Shreyas Iyer team. It was the sixth IPL entry to the finale for SRH, but the team failed to give their best.
SRH’s devastating loss left Kavya Maran teary-eyed in the stadium. The SRH owner was spotted crying buckets full as she waved towards the crowd. A video of her emotional moment after the loss has gone viral on social media now.
She tried hard to hide her tears as she appreciated and congratulated KKR for their win. The viral video has left SRH supporters and her fans emotional.
