New Mindset, New Rahul...

KL Rahul admitted to a mindset shift this season. "Somewhere along the way, I lost the fun of hitting boundaries. I was trying to take the game too deep. Now, I’ve realized that in T20s, the team that hits more boundaries wins. It’s back to enjoying my cricket and putting pressure on the bowlers."

Abhishek Nayar’s Crucial Role in Rahul’s Revival

Rahul credited Abhishek Nayar for helping him rediscover his form. "We’ve spent countless hours in Bombay working on my white-ball game. His mentorship has brought the fun back into my batting."
