In the aftermath of Operation Sindoor, fixture between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians (MI) in the ongoing IPL 2025, slated to take place on May 11, has been shifted out of Dharamsala.

It has been learnt that the match will now be played in Ahmedabad. The match will begin at 3:30 PM. The development has been confirmed by Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) secretary on Thursday.

"Yes, the match between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians has been shifted to Ahmedabad," said GCA secretary Anil Patel.

The decision to relocate the context to Ahmedabad was taken after an increase in security concerns following the launch of 'Operation Sindoor' by the Indian Armed Forces on May 7.

In retaliation to the ghastly terror attack in Pahalgam, which killed 26 tourists, the Indian Armed Forces targeted nine terrorist locations across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Meanwhile, it has been learnt that Punjab Kings' home fixture against Delhi Capitals in Dharamsala on Thursday, May 8, will go ahead as planned.
