IPL 2024: Super Computer predicts SRH and CSK to enter playoffs

The ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has entered its final week. The competition for the playoff spots is currently heating up. 

With Mumbai Indians (MI), Gujarat Titans (GT) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) knocked out of the mega event, the battle for the top four positions (excluding top spot) is turned out to be a fierce five-way battle. With KKR firmly settled on top of the points table and Rajasthan Royals poised for another spot in the top four, CSK, SRH, RCB, DC and LSG will lock horns to occupy the other top two spots.

Meanwhile, as per the prediction by BETSiE Super Computer, Rajasthan Royals (RR) will finish in the second spot for the playoffs followed by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the third and fourth positions respectively.

Despite picking up in the second half of IPL 2024, the Super Computer has predicted that RCB will not reach playoffs. They are predicted to end their campaign in the seventh position with both DC and LSG finishing above them.

Moreover, in terms of winning the IPL 2024 title, KKR are predicted to be the favourites with 36.26% chance.

Notably, Super Computer takes various factors into account while making the prediction. Match data including run rate for, run rate against, overs faced and wickets fallen of each team are taken into account while making the calculations.
